Treating Trauma Using Chairwork and Parts Work - Online Workshop

Working with trauma and PTSD can be challenging and, at times, overwhelming for many clinicians. Clinicians may find themselves navigating intense emotional landscapes, where some methods can fall short. Chairwork, an experiential method experiencing a global renaissance, offers a powerful and dynamic approach for trauma survivors. Clients can engage more deeply with their emotions, build inner stability, and experience genuine breakthroughs and lasting recovery.

The Chairwork Psychotherapy Initiative's two-day webinar, "Treating Trauma Using Chairwork and Parts Work" will give participants readily applicable experiential techniques to treat even the most difficult trauma cases. Participants will learn how to practice Chairwork and Parts Work via clinical storytelling, group practice, and unrehearsed, live clinical demonstrations.

In this two-half day online workshop we will explore the use of dialogue strategies for these common dilemmas and challenges:

  • Traumatic Memories

  • Unresolved Grief

  • Abusive Relationships and Childhood Mistreatment

  • Problematic Coping Modes

The workshop will also include a overview of Chairwork Teletherapy guidelines.

Workshop recordings will be shared with all registered participants and available for 30 days.

This ONLINE WORKSHOP will offer 8 CEs.

Event time: 4pm - 8:30pm PT / 7pm-11:30pm ET

This webinar is open to clinicians, grad students, psychology/mental health interns, and other helping professionals.
